Thank you so much CTypeMag for picking me to be the one of new photographers in Thailand who keep creating interesting works in the way of contemporary photography. Sophirat Muangkum Born in 1983, Bangkok — self taught photographer, Sophirat learned master’s degree and also worked as a photographer in Germany after that came back to Thailand to be a freelance and artist. Not just simple nude; her work is a combination of artistic, idea, and art of pulling out of identity. Many works of Sophirat show us various identities of models; telling their hidden stories through skins, gestures, and complex lights and colors. Her works were published in numerous magazines both of Germany and Thailand. Many group exhibition she exhibited and also arranged her own workshops, being lecturer about nude photography several times. “The Secret of Skin” was the first solo at MOST gallery, Bangkok in 2018 including photo book in the same title.
