Joined the Exchange Project #2 “The Gibbon Project”
Tom said , "Humans and Gibbons are very closely related. We both live in small family units, and have remarkably similar biology and physiology. Tom wants to raise awareness of how these animals need to be protected and challenge peoples awareness, by discouraging the use of Gibbons and other wild animals in the tourist trade, hopefully leading to increased support for this and other animal conservation projects in Thailand. The work will be artistic portraits of Gibbon life, mimicked by Hunan models, and tracking the life stories if actual Gibbons currently being rehabilitated in Phuket. So far Tom has carefully selected 3 other photographers from Thailand , France and the United Kingdom hoping to grab International’s attention and raise awareness not only in Thailand but also the world."
